Executive DBA Requirements
A recognized Master's degree (or equivalent).
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of significant managerial, executive, or entrepreneurial leadership experience.
A clear, preliminary vision for applied research that addresses a contemporary global or industry-specific challenge.
Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
Postdoctoral Fellowship Requirements
A formally recognized doctoral degree (Ph.D., DBA, or equivalent).
A proven track record of academic or professional research.
A comprehensive concept for an advanced, independent research project intended for global publication.
The Application Process
Formal Application & Initial Evaluation
Submit completed application form, current CV, academic transcripts, and the non-refundable application fee of CAD 500.
Acceptance & Research Proposal
Accepted candidates must submit a structured Research Proposal detailing area of study, methodology, and expected outcomes.
Interim Supervision & Proposal Refinement
Collaborate with an Interim Academic Supervisor to refine and elevate the research framework.
Specialized Supervision & Research Commencement
Once approved, you are paired with a Specialized Supervisor to officially begin research.
VAE Pathway: Validation of Acquired Experience
SABI University recognizes that profound knowledge is not generated exclusively within the classroom. We honor the lifetime achievements of extraordinary global leaders through our Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) pathway. Highly accomplished senior executives with decades of transformative, measurable industry impact may apply to have their professional expertise formally evaluated for academic equivalence.
A Legally Recognized Framework
The VAE is a formal academic pathway allowing senior professionals to obtain an official degree based entirely on the rigorous evaluation of their proven, documented professional experience—bypassing the need for traditional coursework, study, or examinations.
This pathway is firmly established by two pillars of French law:
Equal Academic Weight (Code de l'éducation, Art. L613-3): Mandates that degrees awarded through the VAE carry the exact same academic prestige and official validity as those earned through traditional study.
A Professional Right (Code du travail, Art. L6411-1): Protects the VAE as a universal professional right, empowering individuals to formally convert their direct industry mastery into an official academic credential.
